Create Civil 3D prototype drawing from LDD description keys and cogo block library

The scenario

You want to import points into Civil 3D using the same symbols, layers and codes that you used in Land Desktop.

The dilema

you have to insert all the blocks in the cogo library into the prototype drawing
for each description key you have to create a point style, associating the description key with the correct symbol and setting the block and point layers
for each description key you have to create a key in the description key sets.

Zip up the drawing in the cogo block library, you can find the location in LDD by selecting the point pulldown > point settings

Add the description library file, default.mdb, which can be found in the project folder\cogo\desckey folder to the zip file
rename the zip file to your_company.zap to bypass the email filters and email us at 2c3d@rsteltman.com
